Is Sania Mirza great ?

Sania at the age of 21 is a celebrity.

She is the best women's tennis player in India.

She won the "Padma Sri" award, the fourth higest civilian award in India at the age of 19 years.

She has won a few championships in tennis though not big tournaments, lesser versions.

Now the question comes is she that great ?

Whatever is mentioned about her in the beginning of the article means that she is a good player.

Then the next question comes what is wrong if the media projects her as great ?

When the people talk about her being great she is likely to think so.

When she thinks and believes so her growth is likely to be stopped.

She needs to develop a maturity which Sachin had at the age of 16.

She needs to rate herself properly like Steffi Graff and other great players did before they became grand slam winners.

Because of her looks and shape, there is a hype of Sania in the media.

They are not responsible for what they project, whether good or bad.

Interestingly India is looking for a hero/heroine in sports. So anybody worthy of 4/10 will get 8/10

If this gap is not properly understood by Sania or any upcoming sports person, she is led to believe that she is a near-genius if not a genius.

The net result is that she will be destined to remain in the first 50 not in the first 5.

Social work is against nature

What is social work?

It is to upgrade the downtrodden. It is to work for the progress of the less fortunate ones economically, socially and spiritually.

It is basically helping individuals, families, groups and the society itself, to organise itself into better living standards.

Any serious genuine social worker feels the necessity of studying the individuals.

The change ,transformation has to take place first in the mind of the individual, from there it spreads to the family, groups and to the society at large.

So if the social work is to change the living status of the individual,we must first find out the IQ and EQ of the individual.Whatever the sw conveys, can be understood by the individual, only if he has the capability to receive. If his mind is like a plastic sheet, whatever falls on that is flowing away without making any impact. Therefore receptivity means the capacity to breathe in or take in. Only people with necessary IQ can understand what the social worker says and implement what he says.

But IQ is inborn. We may be able to sharpen that.It is almost impossible to increase it.

Nature has already designed the individual before the birth. One can not be radically be different after that.

Therefore whatever the social worker does is anti nature.Of course he can do something so as to bring in cosmetic change.

So in a nutshell, any serious attempt by a social worker to transform the downtrodden is anti nature.Nature has built in mechanism to resist and defeat any such attempt.

Then the fundamental question arise. Are you going to denounce all the social work?

Does it mean that the social workers will have to stop their work.

Of course not.

All those who aim economic changes should continue because it is achievable partially.

All those who try genuinely for a social transformation, can continue for self satisfaction.
